30-Day Couples Challenge Game
One small thing a day. Miss a day and nothing resets.
Quick answer
A 30-day couples challenge is one small task to do together each day for a month. Pick a track above (cozy, playful, romantic or long distance), do today's task, and tap We did it. The calendar and streak keep your place, and a missed day never resets it. Send the link to your partner, add a daily reminder, print the calendar, or play a best-of-five duel tonight. No sign-up.
A 30-day couples challenge is one small thing to do together each day for a month, like a real compliment, a walk with no phones, or one quick game. The free tracker above picks today's task, keeps your place and counts your streak. Tick it off when you have done it. If you miss a day, nothing resets: the next task waits for you. No sign-up, nothing to install.
How does the 30-day challenge work?
- Pick a track. Cozy for small warm habits, Playful for silly games, Romantic for notes and slow dances, Long distance for couples who are apart. Each track has 30 days plus spare tasks. You can run them one after another, and each keeps its own progress.
- Do today's task. Most take 5 to 15 minutes, and the card tells you how long. The longer ones land about once a week. Tap We did it.
- Swap what does not fit. Tired, away or not in the mood? Tap Swap it for a different task, or Shorter one for 5 minutes or less. Any day on the calendar opens with a tap, so you can read ahead or add a short note to remember it by.
- Bring your partner in. Send the link and they get the same calendar on their phone with your ticks and notes on it. Send it back after you tick; the newest change wins. Tap Reminder to add one repeating reminder to your calendar app. It has no day number, so it never goes out of step, and no end date, so delete it when you finish.
Your progress saves on your phone, and the link holds the state itself. Nothing goes to a server and there is no account.
What if we miss a day?
Keep going. This is the main thing the printable calendars get wrong: one busy Tuesday and the whole page feels failed. Here, the days are a list of 30 tasks, not 30 dates you can lose. Skip a day and the same task is there tomorrow. Your streak survives one missed day between ticks. Two missed days in a row start a new streak, but every tick you earned stays on the calendar.
Does a couples challenge actually help?
Small, regular moments are a reasonable bet, though no 30-day list is a proven treatment. In a well-known set of studies, Arthur Aron and colleagues (2000) found that couples who did a new and exciting task together reported higher relationship quality afterwards than couples who did a dull one. The University of Florida's SMART Couples program also suggests a 30-day list of simple activities, and says you do not need to do them all in a row. If you have a serious problem in your relationship, a challenge is not the fix: talk to a counselor.
Couples challenges at home, by track
A few examples of what each track asks. All of them are in the tracker, along with the rest.
Cozy
- Walk around the block with no phones and ask what the best part of their week was.
- Ask: what is one thing I could take off your plate this week? Then do it.
- Pick a tiny tradition for every Sunday and start it.
Playful
- Whisper challenge: one wears headphones with music on and lip-reads a funny sentence.
- Draw each other in 60 seconds with your eyes closed. Keep the drawings.
- Hold a mini Olympics at home: paper-ball toss, sock slide, balancing a book.
Romantic
- Dance in the kitchen for one song, music or no music.
- Look at each other in silence for one minute. Then say what you noticed.
- Write a short letter to open on your next anniversary. Seal it.
Long distance
- Give a tour of your fridge on camera. Each of you plans a meal from the other's fridge.
- Go for a walk together on a call, each in your own city.
- Have a real long distance date: dress up, set a time, stay together for 45 minutes.

Just want a couples challenge game right now?
Tap Game at the top of the tool. It deals quick duels, from a slow dance without laughing to a staring contest. Choose Date night or Silly duels, and pick the loser's stake before you start. Take turns, tap who won, and the first to win the most of 3, 5 or 7 rounds wins. The loser pays the stake, like making the next drink. Under Change, choose Same room or On a call and it only deals duels that work where you are. There is nothing to set up, so it works when you are bored on the couch.
Printable 30-day relationship challenge
Tap Printable at the top of the tool. It shows all 30 days on one page, in five styles. Tap Print it for the fridge and fill in the circles with a pen, or tap Save image to pin it or send it to a friend, as a fridge print or a phone story. It uses your track, your swaps, your ticks and your names, with no email needed.
What are the limits?
- Your progress lives in your browser. If you clear your browser data or change phones, open the last link you sent to get it back.
- There is no live sync. Each link carries the calendar at the moment you send it.
- The reminder is a calendar file your phone adds to its calendar app. We cannot send you push messages.
- Anyone with the link can see your ticks, your notes and the names you typed, so only send it to your partner.

FAQ
What is a 30-day couples challenge?
