How does the game picker work?
- Say where you are. Same room, on a call or over text. Over text only shows games you can play turn by turn.
- Tap your devices and your partner's. iPhone, Android, PC, Mac, Switch, PlayStation or Xbox. The picker checks cross-play for every game. If only one side is filled in, it assumes you both have the same, so a pick never leaves one of you out.
- Pick the time and the mood. Chill, competitive, co-op, talky or flirty. Pick none and everything is in.
- Spin. You get one game with how to start it, the price and the devices each of you uses. Each of you has three vetoes.
- Send it. Send your partner the pick, or ask for their devices first: they tap theirs, send them back, and you both see only what works for you two.

What co-op games work when only one of us owns the game?

What if one of us is a gamer and the other is not?
Pick the Co-op and Chill moods. Games where you help each other, like Stardew Valley, Overcooked, Moving Out 2 or Unravel Two, are easier on a new player than a 1v1 where the gamer always wins. Talk games and browser games level the field too: nobody has an advantage at Two Truths and a Lie.
