Question Game for Couples

This free question game for couples deals one question at a time from over 800 original cards: get to know you, funny, deep, flirty, spicy (never explicit), date night, future, memories, before bed and long distance, plus full decks for new couples and married couples. Pick a topic and a depth, take turns asking, and both answer. No sign-up, no repeats, and it works on two phones.

How does the question game work?

1. Pick who is playing. The tabs at the top switch the deck: Any couple, New couple (first dates to six months), Married or Long distance. Each one has its own topics.
2. Pick a topic, or leave it on Mix. Tap more than one topic to combine them, for example Funny and Date night.
3. Pick a depth. Light is easy small talk, Personal asks for an opinion or a story, Deep asks for something you would not tell everyone.
4. Take turns. One of you reads the card, you both answer, then swap. Swipe the card or press the right arrow key for the next one.
5. Keep the good ones. Tap the heart to save a question. Tap Not for us to remove a card from your deck for good.

Which topic fits tonight?

For a slower, step by step version, try the 36 questions to fall in love. For a quick pick and reveal game, use would you rather questions for couples.

How do we get more out of each question?

• Both answer. The card is for the two of you, not a quiz for one. Asking and then answering it yourself keeps it fair.
• Ask one follow-up before you move on. "What made you think of that?" or "When was that?" turns a one-line answer into a story.
• Go light, then deeper. Start with two or three Light cards. Deep questions land better once you are both relaxed.
• Skip without guilt. A question that does not fit tonight can wait. Not for us removes it for good on your phone.
• Keep it a habit. One good question a day keeps you curious about each other. Researchers at the Gottman Institute call this knowledge of your partner's inner world a love map, and it changes as people do.
