Couples Compatibility Test (Free, for Two)
Answer blind on two phones or one, then see where you match.
Quick answer
Each partner answers 25 multiple-choice questions about everyday life, fun, the future, money and conflict, without seeing the other's answers: on two phones by link, or on one phone passed back and forth. The reveal shows a match score, a score per area, the 3 biggest differences with a question to talk about for each, and all answers side by side. The bank has 125 questions, so you can play new sets. Free, no sign-up, nothing stored on a server.
This free couples compatibility test asks you both 25 quick questions about everyday life, fun, the future, money and how you argue. You each answer for yourself without seeing the other's answers, on two phones by link or on one phone passed back and forth. The reveal shows your match per area, your 3 biggest differences with a question to talk about for each, and every answer side by side. No sign-up, and the full result is free.
How does the test work?
- Pick two phones or one phone. Two phones works on a call or apart. One phone works on a date: you answer, then pass it over.
- Answer 25 questions for yourself. They are concrete, like when you wake up on a day off or what you would do with a surprise 500 dollars. Five come from each area.
- Your partner answers blind. With two phones, tap Send and they open the link. Your answers ride along in the link but stay hidden until they finish.
- See the reveal together. A match score, a bar for each area, your 3 biggest differences and a talk-about-it question for each. Send the reveal back so you both have it.
- Play again. The bank has 125 questions. Each new set prefers questions you have not seen yet.
How is the match score worked out?
Most answers sit on a scale, like "before 7" to "whenever my body decides". If you pick the same answer, that question counts as a full match. If your answers sit right next to each other on the scale, it counts as half a match. Anything further apart counts as a difference. The score is the share of matches across all 25 questions, and each area gets its own score the same way.
The score is a conversation starter, not a prediction. A 50% couple who talk about their differences is in a better spot than a 90% couple who never talk.
How do you know if you are compatible with someone?
Liking the same movies matters less than you would think. The things couples most often have to work out are the everyday ones: how you spend money, how much time you want together and apart, whether you want kids, where you want to live, and what you do when you disagree. The Gottman Institute reports that most of the problems couples argue about are perpetual: they come from lasting differences in personality and lifestyle and never fully go away. What matters is that you can keep talking about them instead of getting stuck.
So a good compatibility check does three things:
- Finds the gaps early, before they turn into the same fight every month.
- Shows you are not alone in them. Almost every couple differs on money or plans somewhere.
- Gives you words to start the talk. That is what the talk-about-it questions are for.

What are good compatibility questions to ask?
The best ones are specific. "Do you like to travel?" gets a yes from everyone. "How much do you plan a trip: every day, a few bookings, or just the flight and a bed?" tells you something. A few from the test you can ask on any date:
- A free Saturday with nothing planned: stay in, one easy plan, or out all day?
- Combining money as a couple: all shared, some shared, or fully separate?
- In an argument, do you need to talk it out right now or sleep on it?
- How many kids, if any?
- How much alone time do you need in a normal week?

What are the limits?
- It is for fun and conversation, not a psychological assessment. It cannot tell you whether your relationship will last.
- Answer for how you really are, not how you think you should be.
- The link holds your answers. Anyone who has it could read them, so only send it to your partner.
- Your results are not stored anywhere but in the links and on your own phone.
FAQ
Is there a free couples compatibility test for two people?
Yes, the one above. Both partners answer the same 25 questions on their own phone (by link) or on one phone, and the full reveal is free with no sign-up and no paid report.
How do we take it on two phones?
Answer your 25 questions, then tap Send. Your partner opens the link and answers the same questions without seeing yours. When they finish, they see the reveal and can send it back to you with one tap.
How is the compatibility percentage calculated?
Same answer counts as a full match, neighbouring answers on a scale count as half a match, and the rest count as differences. The score is the share of matches across all questions, with a separate score for each of the 5 areas.
Does a low score mean we are not compatible?
No. The test cannot predict your future. A low score means you see more things differently, which gives you more to talk about. What matters most is whether you can talk about differences kindly.
Can we take it again with new questions?
Yes. Tap Play a new set of 25. The bank has 125 questions, and new sets prefer the ones you have not seen yet.
Is our data stored?
No. Answers live in the link you send and on your own phone. Nothing is sent to a server.
